James Dorsam (Class of 1955, deceased)Jim earned his B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from Purdue. At McDonnell Aircraft, he worked on the design for the interior of the Gemini Space Capsule. Later, Jim helped develop materials for the Apollo’s solid rocket boosters. You will find Jim’s name on equipment he helped design for the Space Shuttle in the Air Force Museum at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
